A Brief History of Mrs. Milos

Mrs. Milos started teaching in LGUSD in 2001, spending the first half of her career in fifth grade and then moving down to second grade in 2010.

Mrs. Milos grew up in Cupertino, attending the local public schools, and graduating from Monta Vista High School. From there she went on to become a rock star, but soon decided that getting a BS in Animal Science at UC Davis might be a better idea. While there, a professor made her write a children’s story...and she promptly switched her degree to English. After graduating and working in the tech industry, Mrs. Milos attended National University, where she received her M. Ed in Crosscultural Education, as well as her credential. In 2013, Mrs. Milos completed the GATE certificate program through UCSD Extension.

In addition to teaching, Mrs. Milos feeds her love for music by directing the incredibly awesome Blossom Hill Chorus. Mrs. Milos also enjoys reading lots of books, shopping at Target, going to concerts, going for walks, and drinking coffee with friends. When not at work, Mrs. Milos can usually be found at home playing, dancing, reading, or singing with her daughter. Finally, Mrs. Milos enjoys being her husband's number one fan, both onstage and off.
